July 4th celebrations were met with late day storms causing damage and wide spread utility outages.

Rescue 60 was dispatched @ 18:37 hrs to assist Glendale ( Clearfield 28 ) with a working house fire on the 1100 block of Mill St in Coalport.
Firefighters worked in 90* + temperatures to stop a fire in the attic of the home. When Rescue 60 arrived the crew of 6 was split. With 3ff working as relief for the first in companies, overhauling the 2nd floor. The remaining 3 operating as the RIT team.

Rescue and Truck 60 responded to the 700 block of Palmer Ave in Patton Boro @12:04 hrs for a reported Stucture Fire with reports of entrapment, assisting Station 62.
First arriving Eng and Tower 62 were met with a heavy fire load on the upper floor and initiated an interior attack coordinated with a search of the building, the report of entrapment was unfounded.

After several years of trying, we are pleased to announce we were successful in securing a 2024 AFG grant (Assistance to Firefighters Grant) from FEMA.
The Grant in the amount of $114.000.00. This comprised of 86% of the funds needed to purchase 25 sets of turnout gear at a total cost of $131.200.00.
This will outfit 25 firefighters with new coat, pants, boots, gloves, hoods, and helmets.

Rescue 60 was dispatched @09:30 hrs Monday for a commercial vehicle accident on the 3100 block of Gallitzin Road ( Rt 53 near kid Long Road) in Gallitzin Township.
Arriving on scene the crew encountered a refrigerated box truck had left the roadway and overturned.
Assistant Chief Seese with command, found the driver to be uninjured, and all fluids were contained.

Station 60 was dispatched @09:09 on Good Friday for Motor Vehicle Accident with entrapment on the 1600 block of Black Snake Road in Dean Township.
Chief 60 arrived on scene to find a pickup truck had rolled over and struck a tree, with a female confined to the cab.
